- Read the tournament hosting guide and make sure you understand your responsibilities for running a tournament. Also read the insurance manual before you sign a rental contract with a facility.
- Check the tournament schedule and make sure there are no other tournaments on the day you want to run yours (if there are you need to email the tournament coordinator to discuss your options).
- Non-standard tournament formats may be approved, but should be discussed and cleared with the tournament coordinator in advance, noted on the sanction application and publicized to entrants in the tournament information.
- If there are no other tournaments scheduled, sign up your tournament using the automated sign up below.
- Print out the sanction form, sign it and mail it into the tournament coordinator with your court fees and bond if applicable. If anything changes (date, location, level, gender, etc.) from the approved sanction, it must be re-submitted to the tournament coordinator and updated on the tournament calendar.
- Once the sanction form is received and the insurance chairman has checked off on it, your tournament will appear as being approved on the website and you can begin accepting entries. DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS BEFORE YOUR TOURNAMENT IS APPROVED.
- For the 2007/2008 season, AES will be available for optional (recommended) use for adult tournament at no charge to Tournament Directors.
